I have two cats & believe that this product does work.  I ccompletely change their box once a week & during that week have no problems with the litter being everywhere or with a smell coming from their box.  People dont believe it when they visit & then realize I have two… read full review »

Supposedly formulated for multiple cats, Tidy Cat Multiple Cat litter is a disappointment.  It doesn't absorb any better than regular litter and because the product is finely granulated it sticks to cats' feet more than regular litter, creates more dust and spills are more difficult… read full review »

My cat always uses the litter box when I use this product.  I switched from the regular Tidy Cat and have noticed the fragrance has been improved/increased.  I have always used Tidy Cat for my cats for years.  Other litters scattered just as much.  Just expect the messy feet.  Easy to clean up with a dust pan and broom.  Small price to pay for the joy of being a cat owner!  I only change the litter once a week and have never had people notice the… read full review »

This has got to be one of the best cat litter products out there, especially if you have multiple cats. I have used this product for years and will continue to use it until I no longer have any cats. They do have different types of cat litter, but this one is by far the best, you can get multiple cats or single cat. I don't know what else to say about this product except that I love it and my cats like it… read full review »

I have one cat and I was hoping that this litter would be better because it is for multiple cats.  I was not impressed at all.  I scoop his litter box twice a week,  and change all the litter about once a month.  When I was changing the litter all the pee was on the bottom of the box and stunk.  I will never buy this kind… read full review »

I have been using Tidy Cats for longer than I can remember. I have been a cat owner and lover for over 30 years and I've tried just about every litter out there. I've gotta say, Tidy Cats is the best bang for the buck. I have 4 cats of which 3 are strictly indoors. — This litter is messy, but name one that isn't when you've got 3 cats and one is a wild man when it comes to the litter box! — When you get 25 pounds of litter for about $4, what's to complain about?  I have 3 litter boxes (remember, 1 per cat) so I use a lot of litter. — There are 2… read full review »

This is by far the worst litter on the market!  I have two cats.  I bought Tidy Cat due to it's inexpensive nature compared to other litters.  It claimed to be able to provide excellent odor control and good litter quality.  It did not live up to it's claims.  The litter smelled horrible from the very first use by one cat.  It is dusty when you fill the little tray and when the cats utilize the litter.  The litter remains on the cat's paws and therefore it is tracked through the entire house.  I love animals but don't want my house a big litter box nor… read full review »

Right off the bat it reeked!  My darling kitten hadn't stepped foot in it and I could smell just the litter alone throughout the entire house.  When she finally did use it the product never clumped, the smell of ammonia was so intensified by the new litter neither my poor pet nor I wanted to be near it.  Needless to say I threw away the entire 40 lb bag (which I might add is the only size this grotesque stuff is available in) and went back to Small Spaces Kitty Litter.  This was the consistency of driveway gravel and as absorbent as concrete.  I will never… read full review »

I started using Tidy Cat from the day I was able to have cats as another family member.  I was delighted at first and thought maybe it was just me, but has this product changed over the years? —  I find it rather small and dusty and messy. —  Above all, my cat does not like it any more.  In fact, she lets me know in many ways to Stop using this product or else!! —  So I afraid I must shop again for a better brand of litter for me and my cat.  We are as one and if she is upset, I am upset and no one wants to mess with my frustrated cat! —… read full review »

As an animal lover with over 20 different animals in my home I have been very pleased with my experience from Tidy Cat it is reasonably priced for the animal lover on a fixed budget.  Clean up can be made even simpler by using litter pan liners so you never have to actually deall with the hassle of a big mess just grab the bag out of the litter pan and dispose in the trash can the messy part for me comes when trying to pour the litter out of the bag into the pan. i would definetly reccommend this product to friends and family preparing to get a new cat or… read full review »

Tidy cat litter is an inexpensive litter that may work well if you have 1 or 2 cats, but those of us who rescue or have been chosen by many cats it does not have what it takes to stand up to the use. The clumps do not hold together tightly so if you can't scoop soon after the cat goes you end up with crumbling clumps that add to the "stink" of the litter box. Cats that aggressively bury will also contribute to the clumps breaking up faster. I do not reccomend it's use for a multi cat household unless your litterbox is in an area where odor is not an… read full review »

I have purchased tidy cat multiply cat litter also and it does not own up to its name.  It is a bit more expensive than the brand I currently use .  My cats (2) are very picky and it is  too fine of particles  for them.  The floor gets covered with the litter from their feet when getting out of the litter box.  Does not clump very well.  I think it is  a kind of messy cat litter.  I avoid buying this brand .  As for the smell, it did an average job for that.  Some people may prefer this brand but I do… read full review »

This litter does an ok job of clumps, but it does have a little dust when poured and it sticks to my cats feet. It doesnt work all that well with my multi cat houshold (2 cats 4 kittens) I like the plastic pails they have in the 30-40 lb variety which i clean out & use to store cat/dog food in but as for the smell even though i dig for buried treasure daily with a scoop ot still has a strong smell so i mix tidy cat multi cat litter with the arm and hammer brand and it works better to hide the smell and clumps too —… read full review »

I alternate Tidy Cat with Scoop Away, and I really can't tell the difference.  I just buy whatever is on sale at the Pet Club warehouse type store.  They both seem to perform as advertised.  I do prefer Pet Gold litter from PetCo, and I have my own buckets to take advantage of the discount for refilling your old buckets, but it is more expensive, and if I have to choose where to be budget conscious I would rather trade a little in the cat litter department and spend more money for good quality food. —… read full review »
