I first tried the Tide Stain Release because I received a coupon for $2.50/1 and so it cost me very little. I figured that I was out absolutely nothing if I hated it. Well, I tried it and FAR from hate it!
This stuff works amazingly well! I was really apprehensive in the thought that something really could get out all of the pasta, pizza and ketchups stains that always find themselves onto anyting light colored that my children wear. I had "tried it all" before and nothing delivered on it's promises.
I first tried it by pouring some onto the stain, and it didn't seem to work any better than anything else I had used. But then, I thought I'd dump some into the machine (yes - finally actually followed the directions) and see what happened. Imagine my surprise when a stain riddled white shirt came out pristine clean! It was at that moment that I knew I was sold -- coupon or not. But of course, the coupon certainly makes it even better!
