Jasper Fforde's latest is here and I'm so glad he returned to Thursday's world, even if he did age her 14 years to middle age.  I saw him at our local independant bookstore (Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh) and he was hilarious!  Plus, his voice and speaking patterns were just like those of Hugh Grant, I kid you not.  If you think his books are funny, then you have got to see him in person sometime.  Of course, that's hard because he lives in Wales and doesn't come over here very often.

My son got me to buy my first Jasper Fforde book, and I have not been disappointed in any of them.  I tend to consume books, and with his books I find myself savoring them because of the word plays, the satire, the tongue in cheek. Their is just nothing about the books I do not enjoy.
