a reality TV watcher, enjoying getting new ideas, Food Network Addict
Bobby Flay is a renowned gourmet chef with a southwestern flair in food and challenges people around the country. These people are locally famous for their creations from BBQ Ribs to Cupcakes and everywhere in between. These people are found by the Network and are led to believe they will be featured on an episode on the Food Network Show. They even film them speaking about their signature dishes. Bobby is then given a folder of their expertise in the dish he will have to try and replicate and win the favor of 2 judges that are chosen from the locality in which he will go for the…

I love the Food Network, and Bobby Flay is one of my favorite chefs. This show is sort of a reality show and a food competition combined. Each week Bobby visits people that are specialists in a certain food where he will challenge them to a winner take all throwdown. In the process, Bobby learns the techniques from master chefs in the hope that he can win the competition. Sometimes he wins and sometimes he loses, but it is a lot of fun learning about new dishes and foods. My favorites are the contests that highlight desserts, like creamy cheesecakes and ice…

Our Tivo records shows it thinks we might like, and this is one of the few we actually agree with it on. Bobby Flay is such a down-to-earth chef, it's fun to see how much his presence can shock the average joe. I'm amazed that most people haven't caught on yet - everyone still seems so surprised when he pulls up even though the show is in the second season. — I love the unconventional throwdowns when Bobby is asked to make something outside his comfort zone, like crepes, cupcakes, or donuts - those seem to go over better than things that are more his style (burgers, turkey, etc.)…

This is one of our families favorite shows! We are pretty selective about what shows we will allow our children to watch during Prime time. Our kids range in age from 12-1 with 3 girls and 3 boys and everyone enjoys watching Bobby Flay try to compete against local chefs to compete with their famous dishes. The kids enjoy watching the cooking and try to predict the outcome of the competition. It is an enjoyable opportunity to spend family time together...and usually ends with the kids heading to the kitchen to make their version of a favorite treat. It captures…

I don't think my boyfriend and I have missed one episode of this show. Its ne of those shows you don't think you will like, but watch anyways when there's nothing else one. After the first few episodes, I was hooked and so was he. The foods they choose to make are very interesting. Our favorite was the Mac N Cheese…

willing to learn, I watch the food channel
Bobby Flay's dishes may not always be authentic but the camaraderie that he is shown between him and the challenger seems real. They laugh, tease, and make cookng look like fun. When Bobby tests his recipe, I'm always interested in trying out the dish. I'm not looking for authenticity in a dish. I'm looking for flavors that delight my palate and colors that entice and this show brings both to the table. …
