My son got this costume when he was 3 years old for Halloween and loved it so much he played in it all the time.  We misplaced it when he was 5 and we had to get a second one because he was heart-broken.  This costume is a must for any Thomas train lover and is very durable.  It goes on easy and is... review »

My son wanted to be Thomas the Tank Engine for Halloween last October and we found a costume at a store called Party City.  It was quite simple and not very durable looking but my son insisted, so, we purchased it for $26.99 which I honestly felt was way too much.

I was actually looking to review a Thomas the Tank book when I saw that the Thomas Costume my son had worn for Halloween had been reviewed on here.  I thought I would give my 2 cents worth.

When we went in to a local temporary Halloween store to look for costumes for the kids this year, my then 4 year old's eyes attention went directly to the Thomas and Friends costume.  He started screaming and pointing and I took him over to it.  It was $24.95 which was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but when you kid gets that excited about something it is really hard to say no.

I bought this outfit for my son for halloween he wears a 4, he was walking on it the whole way, it says 4-6 it means 6. He couldn't put it on by himself because you have to tie in the back of the neck. The material is cheap and tears easily and the hat is is very cheap and has no sizer or elastic/other material to hold it on. It does look like a 3-d Thomas but it's not very stiff so Thomas's head bends which upset my son. It also doesn't do anything like light up or make noise and he didn't like that either. He is usually very imaginative and loves dress up but found this very boring.

Love thomas the tank engine

This was perfect, it gave my child what he wanted to be in a quick and easy fashioned way.  The outfit just slips on over what ever he is wearing.  The cost is a bit high, I paid $21.99 for it at a Party America/Halloween Store.  The cap didn't quite fit right but my son did not mind.  I could see us using this costume over again as well as for regular play.  So it was worth it.  The fabric has cushion in it which makes the outfit nice but the fabric is typical halloween costume fabric (Cheapest fabric around).  Overall great buy

My son loves this costume!  It is well made and easy to put on and take off.  It has a 3-D image of the actual face and comes with a fitted hat.  So it's not just some cheap slip on costume.  He uses it just to play in it sometimes.  What is also nice is that you can dress your child in their own warm clothes, slip this on, and you're on your way.  There is no complication with this one!  I am sure you will love it as I truly do!

My daughter wanted to be Thomas and even picked it off the shelf herself. The costume was easy to put on and got quite a few comments from strangers that it was very cute. Unfortunately it was quite windy on Halloween and the hat kept coming off. It was too bad since the hat really made the costume even cuter. We had to remove it.

The material was a bit fragile and it came back from day care with a tear. I'm hoping she'll continue to like Thomas and thus wear it again next year.

I bought this for the little boy I babysit. He could easily use if for Halloween and continues to play with it at home. I recommend this for children 3-7.  The quality of fabric was not top quality, but was durable.  It looks good on just about anyone, regardless of height, which makes it very verstile.  Colors are steadfast, and it is washable.  A must for kids and parents alike!

THESE COSTUMES ARE ADORABLE AND SO LIGHT WEIGHT SO NO MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER IS YOU CAN PUT LAYERS ON UNDER THE COSTUMES.  THESE ARE UNIQUE COSTUMES AND FAIRLY PRICED.  THE GRANDBABY WAS THE LIGHT AND LAUGH OF THE HALLOWEEN EVENING.   THESE ARE COLORFUL, FUN, EXCITING, UNIQUE AND VERY EASY TO PUT ON.  THEY HAVE ACCESSORIES TOO SO EACH CAN BE COMPLETE.

this thomas the tank and friends costume is the cutest little outfit for a thomas lover! it looks just like him all the little boys love it..they want to wear it even after halloween! its not the best made material for a child and its hard for them to put it on by themselves without the help of an adult. But they love it!

This costume is great for make beleive play.  My son wears it in the house, not too durable for outdoor wear or if you live in a cold climate.  I would recommend this as an addition to a childs play toys not for a Halloween costume.  Even little boys can play dress up and enjoy imaginative play.

Very little for too much money!

This appears to look good in pitreus but when you but it (for $20 or more), all you get is a piece of cloth that you put around your childs head and strap it around his neck. It is not a shirt or pant nor is it adjustable. It is over priced and should range between $5-10. Cheap Material and tears easily.

We love Thomas at hour house! Anything Thomas RULES! I think some of the Thomas items are expensive, but the overall quality is worth it. Everyone loves this costume and it has been a huge success. We have a hard time putting it away! I wish we had Thomas when I was young!
