Providence Electric installed an outdoor outlet for me one year ago. After calling earlier in the year to explain that the outlet was tripping when it rained and the ground was saturated, he was very quick to say it could not be faulty work and that I needed to make sure there were no breaks in the cord to the pond that would cause the outlet to trip. After calling a few times, I received a return phone call. I found my receipt from the work and the "one year" warranty was 7 days past due. He would not even come out to see if it was something that was caused during the installation to cause the problem. As a business owner myself, I would at least go and look to see if it was something my company caused even if it wasn't and the client would have to pay me in the end. I feel that better customer service is needed, especially in these economic times. Client's should come first and not be blown off as if the issue is "not worth a face to face conversation."
