I registered with kaboodle.com which I may say, is my absolute favorite website.  While there, I found out about Foogo.  It's a toddler cup NOT made of plastic.  It doesn't promote or allow for bacteria.  It's easy to clean.  Modern look to it.  Not heavy and my daughter LOVES it.  I highly recommend this.  Canada was on the right step when they banned all those plastics because they are unhealthy.  This is the way to go.  Foogo!

Cool. Looks like you made an interesting discovery. We can pass this one on to our niece. What is it made of?

In response to LisaCarey's comment from May 15, 2008 at 9:06AM:

Hello and thanks. If you decide to buy it you won't go wrong with it. The cup is rather expensive for a cup but so worth it. You won't be buying more sippy cups and they last forever. No melting, no bacteria, no dents, no filth like with the other cups. So I guess if you view it from this perspective, it really isn't expensive and worth it. I paid $16 for it. I also bought the thermos itself. Keep them both in the diaper bag. I'm pretty picky about what my little one eats so I put some home made food in the thermos. It keeps warm for 5 hours and cold for 7 hours. When my daughter is hungry there is her food. No Mcdonalds or Taco Bell. Just healthy homemade food. It's great! The Thermos is a dollar more $17. You can get Foogo online as well as Baby's R Us. I am sure other places as well but they are the only ones I personally know of. Hope you love it as much as I do!
