I have been using this every week day for more than 2 months. At 6 AM, I put in 1/4 cup steel cut oats, 1 cup of boiling water, fruit, cinnamon and honey. I close the lid, toss it in my bag and when I get settled at my desk, I open it up and have my breakfast (usually around 8:30 AM). It cooks the raw oatmeal perfectly, and it keeps it so hot that I often have to let it cool before I can eat it. Yet, the outside of the Thermos is cool to touch. It never leaks in my bag, and when I get home at night, the extra wide mouth is super easy to clean. The only negative is that the cute little folding spoon is too short to reach the bottom, so I use a different spoon.
