Quick View: I have bulging discs in my neck and, when they flare up, I am in a lot of pain. Great product, accept no substitutes

I do not use Thermacare but my wife swears by them. She will put one on before bed and it lasts all night and stays put all night!!! They are NOT mentol which my wife really likes. — I am a strong believer in using generic brands when possible, but having tried a generic brand of this type of item, I found that it was not nearly as good as the Thermacare. Much heavier, but uses a much cheaper adhesive.... the result is that they don't stay in place. Not much point in saving money if the product does not do what it is supposed to do. One of the many more luxuries we have in life, a portable cordless heating pad. When Mother Nature and my dearest Auntie Flo come to visit, I make sure I have plenty of the ThermaCare heat wraps on hand. These unique little pads are air activated and can last for 8 hours or more. I have had them last for 10 hours, and then I just had to finally take it off. These are great for everyone to use - children and adults. If you don't like taking meds for every little ache and pain - get these and keep them handy. They are great for any body aches that require heat to treat. I have had chronic neck and shoulder pain for several years. I have tried everything under the sun for pain, Of course when you are working a pubic job its hard to take pain medication. My daughter has terrible discs in her back and the pain is very bad for her. we tried these and they work very well for her. Although she has had to have other treatments they helped at the time. I used this product in the Clinical Trials phase prior to marketing. If the wrap is exposed to air (per directions) prior to application, the generated heat really can penetrate the muscles. Relief is long-lasting. Hopefully the retail price will come down… read full review »
