Pain sufferers, rejoice. ThermaCare can soothe -- from minor aches to severe back spasms and pain. Does the cold of winter feel like it gets in your bones and muscles? Get close to a ThermaCare heat wrap for the back and you'll be toasty warm with much less pain.
A tip: Did you know one ThermaCare can be saved and kept warm up to 24 hours?
A heat wrap can get pretty hot by 2 hours. If you need to remove it temporarily, wrap the entire wrap up onto itself. Then, place inside a hand towel and roll the towel up tightly. It will still be warm when you need it again in a few hours.
Pay attention to the box directions. The wraps canNOT be RE-heated; never put in the microwave, for example. But you can stretch the number of hours by wrapping it in a towel.
I like this product so much, I would be a seller if that was possible. A bit expensive, especially if you just use for a short time and let it go cold (when you need not do that).
A second tip: Whoever needs it in the family the worst uses it first. Then, hours later, when it's just warm, let the family member with the least pain use it up until it's done.
ThermaCare uses:
ear aches
parotid gland swelling (it's near the chin, if you're wondering)
injury (after ice the first 48-72 hrs though)
chronic pain, anywhere in the body or limbs
arthritis pain
muscle spasms
chilly days when your body aches
**NOT GOOD for diabetics without Doctor's approval.
Buy a pack and relax. Better than a hot bath...and no mess.
**I do not like the neck one because it has adhesive... NOT good with long hair.
