I only get a cold once every fifteen years, but this last one was a doozy! Sometimes I think I would rather get more colds that are less serious, but with all of my herbal, homeopathic, and Chinese medications, I couldn't outrun this one. I had attended an AARP convention and Walgreen's was kind enough to throw a few samples of the Theraflu ThinStrips Nighttime in their goody bags. Thank goodness! Not only did the Theraflu ThinStrips alleviate my cold symptoms to a tolerable level, they allowed me to sleep through the night! I always wake up during the night coughing and unable to breathe, and these magical little strips took away all they creepy cruddy feelings and actually helped me to feel somewhat human again. Yes, they are the nighttime version so they will make you sleepy, so only use them at night. Theraflu ThinStrips Nighttime also have a very pleasant taste--kind of minty, but not overpoweringly strong. I was so grateful to have the samples because I don't think I would have bought them otherwise because they are so new and unproven. Also, they aren't terribly cheap, but they are well worth it! Cough Suppression I still love these! So handy I can take them with me anywhere. Always keep a pack in my purse.

As a teacher, I am exposed to all sorts of viruses and bacteria.  I do my best to stay healthy by eating well, taking vitamins, and washing my hands frequently throughout the day.  Despite my best efforts, though, I wind up with a few major colds each year.  This past weekend, I was hit with the first one of this school year and boy was I hurting.  I had probably the worst headache of my life, sinus congestion, a sore throat, and lots of sneezing.  I needed something to treat the symptoms and make me comfortable to fall asleep.  *Theraflu MultiSymptom ThinStrips* contain an antihistamine and cough suppressant to calm coughing, itchy throat, runny nose, sneezing, and itchy and watery eyes.  I thought that it contained a Tylenol-like ingredient, but apparently I was wrong on that one.  In any case, these *Thin Strips* are extremely convenient and easy to use.  You simply remove one from the foil wrapper and stick it onto your tongue in the manner of those Listerine breath-freshening strips that were so popular a few years ago.  These *Theraflu* *Strips* dissolve quickly and start to alleviate symptoms in a manner of minutes.  I love the fact that you can take this cold medicine "on the go" without having to find a glass of water.  When I started to feel poorly on Sunday morning, I broke out the *Thera Flu Multi Symptom Thin Strips* and took one every 4 hours as directed.  My congestion was relieved in the form of my nose running (which is a symptom that this product claims to alleviate but whatever), my sneezing stopped, and the coughing slowed considerably.  This cold medicine did a nice job of relieving symptoms during the day while I was at work without making me drowsy, but the down side was that I couldn't use it at night when I needed to get a solid block of sleep. That was okay, though, because I had other "night-time" OTC medications for when it was time for me to hit the hay. I've been using *TheraFlu MultiSymptom ThinStrips* for the past few days and have been happy with the way that they alleviate my congestion, sneezing, runny nose, and cough.  Although the packaging warns that these medicated strips can cause drowsiness, I've haven't found that to be the case.  Though I need something stronger to help me sleep through the night, these *Thin Strips* work well for use during the day.  Recommended!
