The Hunger Site is very interesting in that it provides food to the poor and needy by utilizing sponsors who will pay money for every click. Each click gives the sponsor exposure to the clicker thus a way to encourage patronage to their site. I have seen this idea on another site to help feed the hungry. I was surprised at how much they emphasized buying products. I guess the proceeds go to help the poor as well.
This site does not say that it is aligned with any group, but they have other tabs on the same site that apparently provide support for other "worthy" causes - The Breast Cancer Site, The Child Health Site, The Literacy Site, The Rainforest Site and the Animal Rescue Site. I'm starting to wonder how this all works. I would like to hope it is what it says it is and I will continue to check in on this site. They do not ask for any money and claim that clicking provides support to these various causes.
I like the concept and will probably bookmark the site. They also have other FREE ways to support each cause through sending of eCards, Signing petitions and they even have a reminder link to help you remember to click each day.
Overall...I like this site.
