My family love to watch movies as a pasttime and way to spend time togehter as a family.  We enjoy watching older movies as well.  My husband and I thought it would be fun to watch movies taht we watched while we were kids.  So we decided to watcheThe Goonies with our 3 boys ages 4, 6 and 8.  They were a bit leery since we had also watched Gremlins.  Once they realized that it was not going to be scary they absolutely loved it.  It was very suspensful as the kids in the movie ran from villans, made unexpected friendships, solved a crime and found hidden treasure.  They learned about themselves as well as the people around them.  Very adventurous and a great boy movie.  Also good for girls as it does have a bit of a romantce in it.  We had a great time and I enjoyed being able to share a part of my childhood with my own children.
