The Children's Place — 

If you plan on ever returning anything from the childrens place, then do not order from this store.  Their Customer Service is terrible!!!!!!!  I had ordered items in the exact same color from online, then received them, and they didn't match at all.  Called customer service, and wanted to receive a return shipping label since it was their mistake, and they were not willing to do this.  They wanted me to pay to have them shipped back.  I was on the phone for a half an hour disputing this with them.  I couldn't believe that such a reputable company was not willing to help out a customer when the mistake was on their end.  Be prepared.  I will not be ordering from them ever again!!!!!!!

I buy online at Children's place all the time and have never had any problems.

You're right Katie, at my side I have ordered stuff from them online 2 times on my MC credit card, day after they sent me an email telling me that my order has been cancelled (both), and I would like to know what happen exactly. I have contacted them more than 4 times to explain me what happen, they never answer even to one of my email, to my mind the "Customer service at Children's place is not exist at all", and they abuse the confidence of their customer. Be advise people, do not buy stuff online from Children's place, it's a scam.

As someone who as worked for The Children's Place for over 5 years, I must say that the company does an exceptional job for matching colors for various clothing articles. I would be extremely curious to know what you bought because I honestly can not recall anything of the same color that did not match. And I don't know how many times I have heard parents say how pleased they are that everything matches for easy interchanging of outfits and matching boys and girls clothes.

Keep in mind that if you ordered items made out of different fabric, there will be a ever so slight difference in the color due to the fabric.

Also if you happened to have bought full price and sale price items, TCP always changes the colors from season to season.
I don't know how close you live to a store, but you can make returns and exchanges. You have up to 90 days to return with your receipt to get back how you paid and after 90 days you receive in store credit for the current selling price.

Lastly, it's unfortunate that you did not have a good experience with the customer service agent. But keep in mind, that every company has good employees and bad ones and maybe you happened to receive the latter. So don't rule TCP out when it comes to buying clothes due to one bad experience because then you are really missing out on great clothes at extremely affordable prices.
