Friedman, a foriegn affairs columnist for the New York Times, presents an overview of globalization, particularly in the context of the post-9/11 world. Critics would tend to describe Mr. Friedman as pro-globalization, and indeed he is certainly not in favor of any sort of protectionist policies. From his own point of view, however, the author would probably rather be referred to as merely a realist who sees the potential benefits from a process that is already moving forward. — Friedman traces the origins of today's global economic powers to the infrastructure investments made possible…

great book he adds funny or spiffy comments to keep the average reader interested to enough to finish this long book. im just 19 and we had to study this book when i was in high school, but we never had to read it we just watched his presentation at MIT but the book is a lot better but if u need a refresher you can just watch the video off of opencourse…
