The Wizard of Oz — 

This is my favorite movie of all time, and I'm glad that I also read the book.  I watch sequels and other versions (Tinman, sci-fi), but the original is the best.  Dorothy is a girl looking for answers, Scarecrow doesn't know he has the answers, Lion is afraid of them, Tinman fights them, the Wizard abuses them, Glinda leads you to them, and the Witch wants them.  Have you met anyone like this?  I'm sure you have, just as I did.  It's not just good vs. evil, but a social aspect of life as we know it.  Enjoy watching.

The Wizard of Oz is also my favorite movie! I still cry when Dorothy leaves her friends in Oz.
