I've now watched all five seasons of The Wire on DVD. This fifth season is definitely one of the best. The characters are very engaging and the plots are engrossing. The best attribute of all five seasons is the writing. It is clever, witty, and natural. This is a much watch for anyone interested in drama, cop-shows, or just good television.
