It's a Big, Busy World and I Can't Keep Up!
If you find yourself wanting to stay abreast of current events but constantly find the newspapers stacking up in your house, unread, then consider making the same choice I did.  The Week magazine offers you the perspective of not one, but many newspapers across the country, and even the world - as well as editorial takes on current subjects from leading news magazines around the planet.

You Learn (without trying) which publications carry which bias
In today's world, it's important to know the slant of the media you subscribe to:  which networks are left or right, which newspapers are left or right, etc.   The Week, in its amazing ability to tackle an issue and provide summaries from media across the globe, gives readers an amazing little side benefit.   We learn which media leans which way.   Unlike reading one newspaper article, which may or may not present all the facts or opinions necessary to help readers decide what they think, the format of the Week is to do precisely that:  present both sides of the issue, citing sources that contradict each other.   You learn without even trying.

Time-Saver
Best of all, you can converse fairly intelligently on any current topic, from political news to pop culture to entertainment, food, real estate and more.....because the week's most relevant and interesting worldly news is presented in an easy-to-read format that takes all of FORTY-FIVE MINUTES.   Try stacking that up against sorting through several newspapers and magazines, and you'll see that The Week makes you smarter faster.

Recycling Those Newspapers & Magazines
Once you get going on The Week, you'll likely be chunking a lot more newspaper into the recycling bin without a glance, and just pulling out the Local sections.  If anyone has discovered a way to keep up with the stacks of magazines that can take over the house of your average person, let me know!   ;-)   I obviously have too many interests and not enough time!
