I bought this book because of the NOTEBOOK movie so I had decided to get both since the wedding is after the first book, "The Notebook". Upon reading this book, the beginning was so boring that I just wished I hadn't bought this book at a regular price. I forced myself to finish read it since it was my money spend on the book. This book is more for older people who understand what the author wrote and I'm only a young woman who hasn't been living life for 50 years yet or especially haven't been married yet to understand all of it.  Halfway through the book, it started to get good so i kept reading it for the rest of the nite and turns out the end of the book was an awesome end twister. I really did enjoy the end but not the entire book. It was a beautiful romantic surprise and I do have to give the author credit for that.  This book is okay from my prespective but if you enjoy reading novels that are for older people, that's your choice but enjoy it when you can.
