We started a Construction Business 11 yrs. ago & I've found that my husband is hooked on the Weather Channel. Why? He needs to know what to look out for the next day so he knows what job site to plan to be at. If it's going to be rainy, he plans his inside work. If it's going to be dry, he knows he can load up the tractor & do the outside jobs. I've come to enjoy the music they have inbetween the forecasts &, if I have trouble falling asleep, I'll turn to that channel, turn it down low, set the t.v. timer & when the music starts playing, I'll drift off to sleep. At times even the drone of the reporters voices put me to sleep. For me, it's relaxing....for him, it's informative.
