The View - New York, NY Review

I have invited my parents to this restaurant for their aniversary. They are visiting from Romania, so I thought that this would be a realy nice aniversary gift from them.

The restaurant is really nice, spectacular entry (get the interior court all glass elevator to floor 44 - I think) the view of Manhattan is amaizing. It takes more than 1 hour to revolve 360 so you will have to take your time and not rush.

The only downside of the experience was the price and food. We got the 3 course pre-fixe menu for $75 but the food was not impressive. This does not include any drinks or desert or any side dishes for main course so the bill for 4 persons got easily to $400 without any wine and only 2 deserts.

So, if you have the money to splurge, it might worth it, but I think it is much cheeper to go on top or Rokefeller or Empire State building and have dinner somewere else.
