The Venetian Hotel - Las Vegas, NV Review Summary

The Venetian Hotel Las Vegas gets stellar reviews, especially from leisure travelers. They site location in the middle of the strip, giant rooms and excellent hotel staff. One reviewers said the “employees made me feel like a movie star!” Despite the positives, some reviewers complained of slow check-ins at the Venetian. Also, there is no coffee pot in the room, which calls for expensive trips to the downstairs coffee shop. Tip: Getting a good view of the Las Vegas strip may be worth the extra cash. The rooms are big. The whole place is so fantastic. Service is great too!  I lalso look for a nice bathroom which has a large shower, so that you could move every which way.  This is the only place that I came across in Vegas.  We stayed at the Wynn, Paris, Aladdin, etc., but this… read full review »

The Venetian hotel in Vegas is lovely. Next to the Bellagio, I would say it is the "nicest" hotel for someone who is more into the social/art/dining scene than the gambling scene. Yes, people do go to Las Vegas for reasons other than gambling. — There are a lot of great things about the… read full review »

The Venetian hotel is beautiful.  Remember to bring your camera because it's a great place to take photos.  The rooms are large and the amenities are luxurious.  The bathroom was beautiful and the shower had great water pressure.  We had a great view of the mountains from our window.  The pools were clean and nice, but not as fancy as some at other hotels.   It was a long walk to get from our room to the casino, pool or to see friends in the other building.  It seems that they could come up with a better layout to make more direct routes to get to… read full review »

By far, the best I have stayed at in Las Vegas. That includes Bellagio and Mandalay, both of which are nice in thier own right. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I am not a high roller, and they referred to me by first name. Restaurants were many and first class. The pool, while there are no wave pools, waves, or sprawling grounds, are very elegant. I love the padded lounge chairs. And best of all, Venetian has the best location. Out the door to the left is a low rollers paradise of Casino Royale, and the Wynn to the… read full review »

This hotel is amazing!!! It has great location on the strip. It is pumped with the great scent and always smells fresh and yummy. The rooms are the size of a small house - and clean... incredibly clean! Each room includes at least 3 flat screen TV's! There is an inside shopping mall and gondala rides. This is the most amazing hotel I have ever… read full review »

Generally - we thought the Venetian was a beautiful hotel, nice size rooms (even the lower end suite), although relatively small casino and shopping mall. The restaurants are delicious and recommended. We were allowed early check-in (11am). It is unfortunate that we experienced more than a handful of problems. We did not get the view requested at check-in, the phone handset did not work, the only light bulb in the restroom did not work, the odor in the room was horrible, etc. ~ and several extraneous things such as: the vanity was not stocked with the shampoo, conditioner,… read full review »

Myself and a friend, and our two girlfriends, stayed in the Velenzia Suite, and the room was top-notch. On our first night, we had a bad experience in the hotel, and to apologize the Management offered a $50 credit to our account. We spent it in the Grand Canal, but at checkout we were told there was no record of any credit. We really didn't care about the $50 all that much, but the Manager On Duty offered us a late (6:00pm) check-out, and asked that we go rest in our rooms, and he will call us shortly. So, instead of sight-seeing on our last day, we went back up to our room and waited.… read full review »

Rooms are large, 2 tvs, couch, chairs, spacious bathroom with separate tub/shower. Robes & slippers are a nice touch. In room safe was broken. Housekeeping service was outstanding. Need additional waitstaff by pool. Restaurants on site are high quality but pricey. P.S. Grill seemed to offer the best value for dinner. Grand Luxe for lunch has good variety and was also reasonable for the amount of food that they give but service was generally slow. Best bet for breakfast is Riva by the pool. Emeril's Delmonico is not worth the $$$$; had the bone in NY strip and part of wife's filet. As good or… read full review »

This was our fourth stay here, and we love the location as well as the variety of services, restaurants, shops eetc in the hotel. We found the staff to be very kind and accomodating throughout the hotel and casino. We upgraded to a larger suite for business purposes, which turned out to be unnecessary. My complaints primarily have to do with the rooms, specifically the beds. In these days of Heavenly Beds, etc. I found the bed uncomfortable, the feather pillows were of poorer quality, and a comforter would have been a welcome addition. I will think twice about staying here for… read full review »

The Venetian is a beautiful hotel and easy to see why Travel and Leisure included it on its list of the 500 top hotels. When you first walk into the hotel lobby your breath is taken away with the beauty of the Italian marble floors and the frescos on the ceilings. The rooms are the largest on the strip running around 600 square feet. The beds are sunken with a canopy and a step down and your in a small but cozy living room. The bathroom is quite ornate with a large marble shower and a bath tub. There are two sinks which is quite convenient and a separate vanity with a chair which my wife… read full review »

My wife and I went from Saturday to Tuesday (her first time) and stayed at the Venetian and we were very impressed. The rooms were clean and scuff marks all over the door and baseboard, but that didn?t bother us. I think we had one of the lower rooms facing the back of the hotel, but it still was very nice. There were two TVs and a fax machine for us to use. Checkout from the TV and they fax you your receipt. Security makes you show them your room card and from the 2nd floor you have to have a key to work the elevator. Watch out for the bar in the room because it?s on a weighted sensor. Even… read full review »

The Venetian Hotel is an undoubtly beautiful hotel with lots to do and see. The unorganization of the staff was what dissappointed me. After checking and arriving at my room we found the maid was still cleaning it ( mind you this is at 11:00 at night?)so after waiting a good 15 minutes outside the door the maid closes the door behind her and when I go to open it my key didn't work. I then asked the maid for assistance. So were in the room. After about 10 minutes or so my roommate picks up the phone and the front desk informs her that they accidently double booked the room so WE needed to… read full review »

We had not visited Las Vegas for 12 years, and though I am not a big fan, the Venetian made my visit wonderful. The room was a large suite with a nice step-down sitting area. The marble bathroom was so nice I wanted to stay forever! It had seperate tub and shower, commode in a seperate room, double sinks, and best of all a sit-down dressing table with a lighted magnifying mirror. The lighting was soothing(this is a good thing in a place as overstimulating as Las Vegas can be) and the decor was a little over the top but nice. The coffee shop was great (Grand Luxe Cafe) and our only… read full review »

Our stay at The Venetian in Las Vegas was one of the most enjoyable we've had anywhere. We were in a smaller suite, but at 700 sq ft it was sizeably larger and more comfortable than any other place we've stayed. The Venetian's shops were many and widely varied - worth a couple of hours of casual strolling to peruse. And of course the canal, gondolas, and gondoleers added to the sense of being somewhere else - far from home. The Canyon Ranch Spa at The Venetian, while pricey, was well worth the visit too - a top-notch massage and relaxing setting. And the restaurants were excellent. … read full review »

The suite was very spacious, comfortable and luxurious. Nice touches like tha robes and slippers were appreciated. It was so nice to take a bath in a tub that was deep with gold handles for ease in getting in and out of the tub. There was adequate closet space w/hangers as well as several places to place luggage. Three flat-screen television sets and a safe for valuables--great! Very comfortable bed. The view was great--the strip and the pools. The canal shopping area was so enjoyable for strolling and shopping. The restaurants choices were wonderful--all price… read full review »
