The Venetian Hotel - Las Vegas, NV —

I love the relaxing and luxurious atmosphere of the Venetian where you can experience the lush European atmosphere in Las Vegas.  Rooms are comfortable and run for about $199 per night.  They feature amenities like large televisions and bath areas as well as remote controlled Roman curtains and a comfortable bed.  The Grand Canal Shoppes feature a cobblestone walkway and has a variety of stores from apparel to jewelry as well as art galleries and specialty shops.  As you walk, you will pass by the waterways of Venice where you too can experience a Gondola ride which run through the streams daily.  Talented performers serenade shoppers as they stroll along the Grand Canal. Performances are held at various times throughout the day, seven days a week. The Venetian Living Statues perform daily in St. Mark's Square.  No romantic trip would be complete without a graceful and romantic glide down the Grand Canal in an authentic Venetian gondola. Float beneath the bridges and near the streets as your singing gondolier sweeps you down the Grand Canal for a ride like no other. It is relaxing and the great end to a night out, plus it is a bargain at $15.  Dining options include both casual as well as fine dining choices.  Fine dining elegance is found at Aquaknox which is now boasting fresh seafood flown in daily from around the world, including stone crab claws and a superb "raw bar." Additional offerings include a selection of caviar, butternut squash soup with duck confit and apple compote, grilled lobster with drawn herb butter, and pan-seared filet mignon with truffle aioli. Bouchon is the vision of world-renowned chef Thomas Keller.   Located in the Venezia tower, Bouchon brings amazing fare to this hotel.  Bouchon serves a menu of bistro classics and daily specials, featuring the best seasonal products available. Enjoy delicious desserts, an extensive selection of raw seafoods, a full bar, and superb wine service amid a beautiful garden poolside setting.  Experience modern American cuisine at David Burke where menu items include Crisp & Angry Lobster Cocktail and David Burke's Cheesecake Lollipop Tree, as well as Roasted California Duck Breast and Seared Prawns, and Pretzel Crusted Crab Cakes. The presentation is as good as the taste.  My favorite is Tao Asian Bistro which not only features exquisite Asian cuisine but is turned into a roaring nightclub in the evenings in a posh setting.  Casual dining choices include the fare of Wolfgang Puck at the Grand Lux Cafe and tasty Asian fare at Noodle Asia.  For entertainment, enjoyed the wax sculptures of celebrities at Madam Tussauds where you can even pose for a wedding picture with George Clooney.  The entertainment shows at the Venetian are amazing.  My favorite is Wayne Brady where the show is improv so it changes nightly, but it is so funny with song, dance and amazing comedy.  Take in the newly designed Phantom of the Opera or the lively Blue Man Group.  For a day of relaxation, take in the pampered services of the spa or enjoy cocktails by the pool at Tao Beach.  I love this hotel because it is relaxing and has everything you need for your Vegas experience in the heart of one luxurious hotel.
