The University of Tennessee Review Summary

If college sports are a huge turn- on, then one university you might consider attending is the University of Tennessee, located in downtown Knoxville. The University of Tennessee is noteworthy for many reasons, among them the friendly people and staff, the scenic Knoxville area, the historic campus and, of course, the reputation as a place to enjoy great college sports entertainment. The University of Tennessee is “A Great School to Get Involved” and other than getting lost in the shuffle at such a large school, the University of Tennessee is a pretty good College or University for spending your tuition money.

It is really a great school to attend.  There are tons of wonderful and friendly people.  I found classes to be really fair for the the most part and teach alot of good and useful information.  The sports are amazing.  You will never beat a game in neyland watching the football… read full review »

UT is located in the middle of downtown knoxville and for small town folks like me that can be a huge turnoff.  To many people, busy streets, and loads of crime can turn anyone away from paying thousands to go to school..The campus itself, however, is beautiful...wonderful landscaping and… read full review »

It is an awsome place to go to university...The university traces its roots to September 10, 1794, when Blount College was chartered by the legislature of the Southwest Territory, when Knoxville was the territorial capitol. In 1826, what was by then named East Tennessee College[3] moved from Gay Street in downtown Knoxville to a 40 acre (160,000 m²) tract named Barbara Hill (in honor of Governor Blount's daughter). Known to students and alumni today as simply "The Hill," it is only a small part of the Knoxville campus but remains at the heart of UT academic life. The University of… read full review »

This is a great college with friendly people. It's a great place to get to know people if you are not from here. There are many things to get involved in and help around the Knoxville Community. It's a large campus with a lot of people, not for everybody. They have a great reputation as an Engineering and Business… read full review »
