The Ultimate Weight Solution — 

The first time I really lost a good amount of weight was with the help of Dr. Phil's Ultimate Weight Solution book. The Ultimate Weight Solution Food Guide is a great companion to have when following this weight loss plan because it has very comprehensive lists of foods and everything that's in them.

The Ultimate Weight Solution Food Guide Includes:

  • Serving size
  • Calories
  • Protein
  • Carbs
  • Fat
  • Cholesterol
  • Fiber
  • Sugars
  • Sodium

The foods are divided into two sections. the first is the high-response, high-yield category. these are foods that take longer to prepare and are better for you. The other category is the low-response, low-yield foods and these are usually prepared products that should be limited.

Along with the food guide, the book offers a brief overview of the seven keys to weight loss and had menu plans to help you get started.

This book is helpful if you are tracking your calories and other stats daily. Int he long run, it is not much help because you will soon be able to gage this information and will not have to track it forever. Great for a beginning dieter though.
