The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide Reviews

WHen I first heard about Twilight it was about the movie coming out. I saw the preview for the movie and knew I would not be interested. My  younger sister is an avid reader as well. We both like fantasy type books. I am more into horror than romance and was one of the reasons I was hesistant to read even the first book. My sister pestered me for weeks about buying the first book, and I refused stating it is a teen romance and I do not read romance novels. Well for Christmas she bought me all four books.                Okay here it is the Twilight  Saga from start to finish I felt was a great read and I do A LOT   of reading. Shame on Mr. King for his blast as Meyers writing is far different than his,  so is therefore un comparable. The Twilight series is a LOVE story. A Basic love conquers all obstacle's . The book is well written and it keeps moving so it keeps your attention at all times and keeps you flipping the pages . Anxious to get to the next page to find out what happens next.

When I initially heard that the Twilight series was for teens I was a bit apprehansive about reading it.  I loved Harry Potter so I decided to give it a try.   All I have to say is FANTASTIC!!!  The book are not only captivating but imaginative as well.  All four books take you through the lives and love of Edward and Bella.  Edward is a vampire that lives among humans (because he doesn't hurt them).  They fall in love and experience trials and tibulations of any couple.  Do they stay together??? I am not really into vampire type books, but I kept hearing such good things so I decided to give them a try.  I read all 4 books in 1 week.  I couldn't put them down.  I spent my entire lunch break reading and as soon as I got home from work I picked them up again.  They are an easy read too...no big words or names to hang you up and they are just very entertaining.  I very much enjoyed all the books!!

the twlight saga was some of the best books ive read in a while. i was not sure about them at first seeing as they are geared for teens and i havent been a teen for a number of years. i was pleastly suprised and the series kept my attention. i read all four books in under a week.  once i got started i couldnt put them down.

Stephanie Meyer has created a wonderful environment for the teen reader with her Twilight Saga.  The characters are well developed and there is enough action to keep the teen's interest.
