The Twilight Saga Collection —

I absolutely love this series.  I read them all several times and would be more than happy to read them again.  I love the fact that they are not set for a certain age limit and than people of any age can read them and enjoy them.  I did feel that there were some scenes that I would have been a little nervous to have my teenager reading but for the most part it can be for all ages.  She goes into great detail and makes you feel like you are in the story with them and I love that.

I have never been one to get into vampire books and actually just picked this one up because none of the other books caught my attention.  I needed a new book and looked for hours but couldn't find one that grabbed my attention with the story line.  I read this story line and thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try.  i was hooked instantly and could not wait to purchase the next book in the series and be able to see what ended up happening to everybody.

I enjoyed the fact that it was easy to follow.  It wasn't like most books where it was hard to follow along and got lost easily.  It was very east to follow and it was always interesting.  I don't think I ever got bored reading it and never wanted to put them down until I was finished.

The characters were great and they all fit together perfectly.  She gave you a very good description of all of them and made it easy for you to get an idea in your head as to what they looked like and even enough detail that you could picture them doing the things that she described in the books.

I was a little disappointed that she ended it after only 4 books.  I really think that she could have made many more interesting books with all of the characters in the book.  It would have been nice to find out more about how things went for them later in life and how everything turned out.

I think one thing that was a little confusing was the fact that I didn't really feel like Bella was in love with Edward.  I think that she had more of an obsession with him than love for him.  I think she could have made it more about love than obsession because that is something that is very easy for teenagers to get confused about.

I feel like it was a classic love story in a way or at least followed along the same lines.  The outcast girl really wants the hottest guy in school and she cant get him unless she is willing to change herself and the way she does things and once she has changed then she gets the guy and they deal with all the trials and tribulations of being together and being different but they still end up living happily ever after.  Very hard for teenagers to read because that is a real issue in teens nowadays and I feel like the book is telling you that in order to have the guy of your dreams you have to change to his standards.

Other than a few minor things the books are amazing and I can say that they gave me a whole different outlook on vampire books and since reading all of these I have actually purchased and read about 10 other series about vampires and have found that reading about them has almost become an obsession for me.

I would highly recommend this book for you if you have ever had any doubts about reading vampire books at all.  They are absolutely amazing and I feel like they will change your outlook on vampires and future purchases of vampire books.

If you enjoy these books I would love to recommend any books by Charlaine Harris.  The Sookie Stackhouse Series is very similar to this series but it is a little bit more adult based.  Don't know that I would recommend it to teens.  In fact the Charlaine Harris Series is based on the HBO show True Blood and it is an awesome series as well.

     HAPPY READING!
