I don't have much time to sit down with a book and read, so it took me about a year to get around to reading this book. A friend originally recommended it, I forgot about it, and then she gave me a copy of the book to read while I was on vacation. And boy, am I glad that she forced it upon me! This has become one of my favorite books of all time, and I am absolutely certain that it will be regarded as a classic of early 21st century American literature. Some people will look at this and immediately say, "I don't read sci-fi," or, "I hate love stories." Well, to them, I say, "You should give it a shot anyway. You will almost certainly love this book, because it's simply so well-written and creative that it's impossible not to love it."
