I really enjoyed The Time Traveles Wife. In fact, i read it twice, first on my own, and secondly with my book club. We all agree that we liked it a lot, though many found it confusing. I really did have to flip back and forth from time to time, espescially the first time through, to try and understand the dates and ages. It can be a bit confusing, but the story was such an intriguing read that I didn't mind it at all. I don't know quite so much about the love story concept, though it certainly is there, and certainly on my second time throuhg it did feel a bit like a heartrending roller-coaster of a love story, perhaps even more so since it hasn't been so long since I was dealing with the regular roller-coaster of "young love." My first time through I identified more with Clare, though the second time I switched back and forth a bit more in whom I most identified with/liked. I think perhaps that knowing how it all ends gave the story even more of a bitter-sweet feel. I definitely recommend it though, and you should DEFINITELY try to read it before seeing the movie.
