Most HelpfulAs a frequent customer-facing traveller, I always carry a Tide Pen on my computer bag. It works well on all food stains (and some shoe polish as wel) on anything from poly-blends to 100% cotton. However, I have noticed (and some other customer commented in the Tide Forum) that after a few month, the solutions starts to deteriorate and develops a putrid odor. There is no amount of airing that will get rid of. The solution has a light odor when new, which is almost unnoticeable. It is possible that contact with air causes this reaction but if the chemical structure changes to produce this...
review »Busy trying to please my staff and give them a morale pick me up after one of those crazy seasons, I picked up The Tide Pen for each of them. At first it was wonderful. It satisfied the diet crazed and was good for the gadget happy.
Then came our first lunch mishaps and out came those handy dandy pens. Half the tips broke. I know my staff is great with public relations on the phone and wonderful with clients. They are not gentle in terms of anything else. Sooo, the perfect little "you are appreciated" gift was the perfect frustration.
Besides reinforcing my cheap nature, I now need...
review »I love the Tide pen. We love to eat at Mexican Restaurants. Some how one of us always ends up with salsa on our clothes. The Tide pen always saves our clothes.
The Tide pen is so small, not much bigger than an ink pen and easy to carry in your purse, or keep one in the console in your car.
Try it you'll like the results you get.
I love the Tide Pen! It has come in handy for me soooo many times. It seems like everyone I know is messy & we're always spilling something on the front of a shirt or pants, and the Tide Pen helps us not to look like slobs! I do find it works best on light colored clothes and I am sometimes afraid to use it on something dark because I'm afraid it might leave a ring, which I've even noticed on some of the lighter things. I think those rings came out when I washed it though.
The one problem I have had is that depending on the stain, it may spread it around even more. I tried to take...
review »The Tide Pen is fantastic. I had heard about this several years ago and thought "oh sure, this will magically take a stain off the shirt I am wearing." I have a daughter who is a cheerleader and of course on of the uniforms is WHITE! Many times they wear the uniform to school, on the bus and cheer at the games. She always carries her Tide Pen with her wherever she goes. Many times it has come in handy for her but also the other cheerleaders are always grateful that she has her Tide Pen with her. They just dab the pen on the stain and it disappears. It leaves the spot a little wet but...
review »I work in a large call center and I would keep the TIDE pen in my purse because I was an assistant trainer in our new hire classes and the last thing I needed was to stand in front of 20+ people with lunch on my attire. I used the pen on a coffee spill on my pants and it came out great but all day I couldn't figure out what the awful smell was that I would catch from time to time. I retraced all my activities and realized that it had to be te pen. I grabbed it out of my purse and had another co-worker smell it and they were taken back by the smell. Granted it may have smelled terrible but it got...
review »At first I was skeptical about the product from watching the TV commercial. I received a coupon in the mail and decided to purchase the pen. I put it to the test when I got brown lipstick on my shirt. I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked for the stain a couple of minutes after using the product. The stain was gone and the spot was dry! It's a great product to keep in your bag or in your car....just in case .
