A fantastic read

a fiction reader, character-lover, avid reader, love horror and suspense fiction

I love almost everything by Stephen King,but I put off reading this because it was so long. As an English major at the time, I had a lot of reading and writing to do so I found it hard to get into really long novels for pleasure. I am however a compulsive reader and found myself in a situation where this novel was the only thing around to read. I started it and found myself unable to put it down. It was fantastic and well worth the time it took to read it. I always think a book is really good when I find myself wanting more after it is over. that was the case with this novel. I applaud Stephen King on The Stand. I like the movie too, but it could never live up to the book.
