I am an obese woman who has probably tried every diet you can imagine. The Soup Diet was one of the worst! It seems like a good idea and it does work, but it was impossible for me to stick with for more than 10 days. The soup they had me make was great the first time I ate it. By the 3rd day just the smell of it literally made me sick to my stomach. I was starving myself because I didn't want to have to eat the soup! It was awful. The soup diet does let you enjoy a few fruits and vegetables and even on certain days some rice and some meat. But, just having to eat that soup every day was making me so sick to my stomach that I really couldn't eat much of anything else either! After 11 days I ended up losing 9 pounds. Sounds great, but I couldn't take it anymore and never tried it again. I am now on Weight Watchers and loving every minute of it! It's been slow weight loss but definitely something that is do-able for a lifetime! No more Soup Diet for this gal!
I have never heard of this before, but I can't imagine having to eat the same thing everyday regardless of what it is. I'm glad Weight Watchers is working out for you. I just started the Special K challenge, so we'll see :)
