Most HelpfulA wonderful story but poorly done. The screen writer done a poor job adapting the book. The story should have been focusing more on the soloist and his relationships with others. Rather the movie spent too much time in the beginning about the journalist and the degrading of the soloist.

review »Saw this movie at a screening last year, yet this movie stuck with me back then as it still does now (Many spoilers follow below):

review »As someone who works in the field of mental health, chronic mental illness is so often misunderstood and I was impressed with the accuracy and heart-felt way this story was told. I believe it shows other the truth in that those with mental illness posses amazing talents, and even at times when you want to help with genuine sincerity, helping is not always as easy as it may seem.
