The Simpsons Movie Review Summary
The Simpsons Movie is a "worthy tribute to a legendary series." Yet, while many reviewers find this film to be everything they were expecting from the Fox series and more, some feel that the Simpsons wore out their welcome long ago. Every character to ever grace the town of Springfield makes their way into The Simpsons Movie for at least a cameo. The "Spider-Pig" bit is thought to be the funniest part of the film that prides itself on crossing the line, similar to
South Park - Bigger, Longer & Uncut. And While The Simpsons Movie is able to "take its humor to a whole new Rated R level," that level makes the cartoon inappropriate for young kids. However, reviewers disagree on what age is appropriate to view this film.
