Although not quite as good as the 1949 film starring Margaret O'Brien, this remake is a well paced atmospheric eerie retelling of the classic Fancis Hodgon Burnett tale.
The story is about Mary Lennox, an orphan who is sent to live in a large old mansion with her reclusive uncle that has many secrets. One of them is the secret neglected garden that she intends to nurture back to life.
Another is.... ah... but you should watch the movie to learn of more....
It may be a bit too subtle and slow paced for young children, but everyone else should thoroughly enjoy it.
