The Sandlot 1993 Reviews

Here's an under-rated litlte gem of a movie that the whole family will enjoy.  

Imagine if  Jean Shepherd (who wrote the stories that A Christmas Story was based on)  wrote a story about a group of young boys who play pick-up baseball in a field.

The simple premise is the basis for a whole series of comic misadventures involving the kids who just want to play baseball as much as possible in the sandlot.

Young Scotty is new the neighborhood, trying to make friends and organizes a baseball game even though he knows very little about playing baseball.  There's friendly Benny, the obnoxious chubby...

i remember watching this as a chilid and i absolutly loved it. i just got it the other day on amazon.com and i am looking forward to wathing it with my kids!
