an animal lover, a pet owner, simple is good, love nature
This website is for the San Diego Zoo and has a lot of good information on it. You can peruse through the exhibits like the Ituri Forest or the Reptile Mesa or read up on birds at the Flamingo Lagoon. It talks about each of the exhibits, the animals and fun facts about the animals. Also on each exhibit page there are highlights, facts, what animals to look for and even where to find the nearest eating place. The exhibits also have what is called Owl Vision, it's a panaromic view of the each exhibit. Also on the website…

We just went to San Diego for our honeymoon on March 9, and this was our first stop Monday when we got out and about. It completely met our expectations, and then some! We had bought the San Diego Go Card (which was worth every penny, btw) so it covered our admission, along with the fees for the Sky Ride and bus tour. I thought the set up of the zoo was slightly confusing, but once we figured out where we were and where we wanted to go and had already seen, it was amazing. an animal lover, simple is good, a pet owner, into trying new things
The San Diego Zoo ranks as our families # 1 Zoo. — — Normally we spend 5-6 hours in a large zoo and 2-3 hours in the smaller ones. We spent the entire day at the zoo. We were there from the time they opened until they had to run us out. The large variety of animals is amazing. This zoo had animals that we had never heard of. — — The exhibits are large, many are open exhibits, and well above average. — — My favorite was the Panda Bear Exhibit, also known as The Panda Research Station. We went early and there was not a line…

The San Diego Zoo is a great place for everyone. There you will see every animal you can think of and more. It can get crowded and it can get confusing where to go, but I had a year membership when I was living in San Diego and I went there very often to just get away from it all. Every animal habitat is beautiful and all you can think of is how well these animals are being treated. If you are planing a trip to San Diego and are considering the San Diego Zoo, I would recommend going a day during the week when there is going to be less people. Also I highly recommend spending some time going…

My husband and I just returned from California. We started our vacation in San Diego and visited the San Diego Zoo. I have always wanted to go there and am so happy that we did. What a great zoo, the animals are in great enclosures with loads of space and great thought out areas. We found that the zoo itself is very environmentally conscious which is such a great asset. Walking is the best way to see the zoo and you need to allow a minimum of 5 hours to see it. We took the Bus first but didn't really see much except the overall zoo itself and how much area…
