This could be the best kid's store ever

active mother of two, mother of boy and girl, quality conscious, stylish but not silly

great sales, great functional clothes, well stocked, good quality, good style, most sizes in stock, good for boys and girls, great service

Every time I am in New England I must visit the Rugged Bear in Lebanon, N.H. This kid's clothing store is simply the best. They have functional and fashionable clothes for both boys and girls. They are always stocked with the basics in oodles of colors for any sport out there. As all parent's know kid's grow incredibly quickly and last year's skiwear or campwear barely makes it beyond one season. Not to worry, this store is one stop shopping for boys and girls every time. They have jackets, snow pants, long underware, mittens and boots in every color under the sun in all sizes every year and the quality is top notch. I was just there picking up some summer stuff. They have cool raincoats, rainboots, sandals along with shorts and summer pants and dresses. They always have what you need and it's all in one place. These are basics, but with a stylish flair. While the focus is on everyday ware they do have dressier clothes for those special occassions and the staff is knowledgable and helpful, what a combination. The clothes can be pricey, but they do have great sales and in New Hampshire there is no sales tax. Also, unlike some of the catalgue companies your kids can try everything on to make sure it fits so you don't have to keep running back and forth to the post office with those returns that didn't quite work out. I only wish they had a store in the MIdwest where we live.

A friend from Baltimore has told me about this store since they frequent VT and NH in the summers. I am going to check and see if they have online purchasing or a catalog. Thanks for the write-up. :)
