I have read 4 of Nicholas Sparks' books, and I think this has to be my favorite. Like all of his books, it follows a beautiful love story, but the suspense that accompanied most of the book made it very hard to put down. I have 3 young children, so finding time to read isn't easy. But I found myself finding every moment I could to finish the book (and I managed to finish in just 2 days!)  This is one I want to keep and not trade... I think it will be great to read again in the future.

To sum it up quickly, it follows a mid-thirties aged man who has trouble keeping relationships. He meets a woman...

I had no idea what "The Rescue" was really about until I actually bought the book and started reading the pages. Filled with suspense and emotion, Sparks takes us on a whirlwind of expiriences and situations. From panic, terror, frustration, doubt, and of course - love; Sparks shows the unexpected agony and unconditional magic   of destiny and fate.

A quick read. An excellent ending.
This is by far one of the best Sparks novels, if not the best. :)

I recommend this one for all mothers - espescially single moms and mother's struggling with special children.

This is a good book with an interesting twist. The only thing that I don't like about Nicholas' books are the descriptions he gives as to what the people look like. It seems that you have no clue unless you get the description from someone looking at the person and even then it's not that informative.

* I just wanted to give a few examples of the repetitions I came across while reading a few Spark books...I noticed alot of single parents or soon to be single parents, 2nd grade teachers or kids being in the 2nd grade. And the most important...every first kiss was the same as it was in the last...

The Rescue is one of Nicholas's best novels yet. Every person should be required to read this novel while in school.
