Whenever we travel we try to find Air America on the radio. It is a progressive radio talk show. One of our favorite hosts is Rachel Maddow so we were delighted when she got her own show on MSNBC at 9:00p.m EST. every night. It is called The Rachel Maddow Show. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/

A Closer View

You probably will not like Rachel Maddow if you are voting for John McCain; however she is so charismatic, funny and smart that you might want to take a peek. Right now naturally much of her show is aimed at the political arena but at other time she looks at general stories and our culture.

Air America radio host Rachel Maddow is anchor of MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show' at 9 p.m. ET weekdays. Maddow and guests will take a smart look at politics, pop culture and the top stories of the day.

She has guests on and last night politely disagreed with her guest who also disagreed with her. You can see videos of some of the shows at the website above.

Rachel showed tapes of Palin saying over and over again that she was relieved that her actions were not seen as illegal and that it was also found that she had done nothing unethical. Of course Palin can say that all day long which she did but in fact she was accused of unethical actions. So you may have made up your mind already to watch her or not but give her a chance. She's a refreshing new face. Actually she was and still is an MSNBC political analyst so you may see her other times than during her 9:00 show.

All Hail Rachel! The Only True Progressive on TV!

I love Rachal Maddow, too! Keith Olbermann is intelligently hilarious, too!

We watch her tv show sometimes. Not bad. As for Palin, there was something on her tv show about but we didn't watch the whole thing. I'm not a Palin supporter, far from it, I had simply had enough of politics and that topic for that day. Palin was incorrect and she was not cleared nor found innocent. She was found guilty on at least one of those charges but no actions were taken at that time. Bet none of us could ever get away with things like that...not that we'd want to. : ) Anyway ...... I enjoyed your review, Jo. Keep 'em coming!!!!!!

Char and George and I watched her show a lot when I visited them and I thought it was pretty good. Rachel is very well spoken and entertaining. I did think her show is pretty heavily slanted to the Left and that we shouldn't expect anything too "objective" here but since that's the way I'm going to vote anyway, that was fine with me!
