"The Princess Diaries" is the charming retelling of the often-told story of the ugly duckling who's turned into a swan. The Princess Diaries is a wonderful Disney film.  It's right out of a fairy tale, like Cinderella.  A school dork as you would say winds up being a heir to a throne, only she not everything everyone expects her to be.  Amelia is frustrated with her mom for lying to her, and her Grandmother wants her to be perfect, but yet she wants to be who she is and expierence her 1st kiss.  She has a crush on her best friends brother and he on her.  She ends up becoming miss popularity and goes out with a guy who is only using her and blows off her friends.  She finds out in the end its better to be true...
