The Practicing Writer Review

I've been reviewing sites for writers, and this site has a more academic slant. For writers who are interested in academic jobs, residencies, and literary journals, this is the site for you. Erika Driefus runs the site, and her monthly newsletters always have interesting information. The newsletter has an article, contests, submission alerts, and conferences. She also has a blog(doesn't everyone?) where she posts academic writing and books news. Most writing sites tend to be the same with the topics, but featuring academic writing makes the practicing writing site unique.
