The Polynesian Resort - Ocean Shores, WA Review

The Polynesian Resort is our new favorite place to stay at Ocean Shores, WA.  We have had a few bad experiences at another hotel down the street, so this time we decided to try the Polynesian. It was perfect for my husband, myself and our 9 yr old son. We had a Queen Suite. It had a bedroom with two VERY comfortable queen size beds, a tv, and vcr.  The livingroom had a fold out couch bed, tv, dvd player, fireplace and a balcony. It was a non-view room, but you could see the ocean from the balcony. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, dishes, silverware, dining table and coffee maker. The bathroom was a little dated, but functional- and it had a blow dryer.  There is a game room. It had several arcade games, pinball machines, and a pool table.  There is an outside play area with swings, tether-ball, volley-ball, and horseshoes. They also have an indoor swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. My hubby and son went swimming and said it was very warm, like 90+!  You could walk to the ocean on the trails, it takes about 10 minutes, or drive that takes 5 min. The staff is very friendly, and helpful with places to see and things to do. The housekeepers even fashioned a little bed for my sons stuffed animals out of a bath towel, it was sooooo cute!! We will definitely return, and recommend it to everyone.
