Was really disappointed in this movie. I'm a big fan of Tom Hanks and also children/family films. Just didn't do it for me.....was not as good as I expected, just kind of a blah movie. It's a movie for the family and I'm sure kids would enjoy it, just not so much adults. I'd recommend it for kids.

It brings a warm feeling to you during the cold nights.
Tom Hanks does a fantastic job as the Conductor as well as other characters. He really captivates the meaning of Christmas.
This is a movie EVERYONE will love. Although some might disagree with some of the animation. However, once you get past some of the animation, you will truly see the reason behind it.

"The Polar Express" touched my heart. A very creative way to get the whole family into the Spirit of Christmas.
Tom Hanks does a remarkable job portraying the Conductor of the train "Polar Express" which takes a handful of children to the North Pole, where they see for themselves that Santa Claus does indeed exsist, if you just believe.
Charming, funny, sad and serious...this movie has all the emotions and will keep you interested in watching what happens next. It truly is an exceptional, family oriented, holiday movie.

The Polar Express movie is an excellent adaptation of the book. It has now become a yearly Christmas "must see". I got the opportunity to see this movie in 3-D, which I highly recommend to anyone, especially those with children. As an adult, I was captivated and swept up in the classic Christmas spirit.
It is a story of a young boy who is coming to an age where the concept of Santa Claus seems a little ridiculous. In the middle of the night, on Christmas Eve, the Polar Express makes its round picking up boys and girls of said age to take them to the North Pole.

My mom used to read me the book The Polar Express at Christmas time. When we heard they were making a movie, we had great expectations. This movie has definitely lived up to those expectations!! First of all, I LOVE Tom Hanks. So the use of him and his amazing talents in this movie was a very wise choice. But really the greatest thing about the movie is the incredible animation artwork. It's like watching a moving piece of art. Incredible! I encourage everyone; whether or not you have children of your own, to watch this movie. After you do, I guarantee you will believe in Santa Claus all over...

It was a cute movie for about the thierd time in a row you watch it.
the animation was great i have to give them props on that,i liked how they imagined how Santa's work shop looked like.I had a completely different thought how it looks.

This book had been so good to read and sometimes that does not translate into a good movie, but Tom Hanks makes this movie one that my kids (16, 15 and 7) and I watch regularly, whether it's Christmastime or not.
The cinematography was excellent. The music just great and character development remarkable.
Loved it - again and again.
