On first blush, the Platinum seemed to be too good to be true.  I mean, come on, a suite of lovely-looking rooms with a full kitchen and bathroom for less than the price of a mid-range single room on the Las Vegas Strip?  We doubted the offer.  We looked at the property photos on the web, and decided that even if it wasn't going to be as good a deal as it looked, it still might be a pretty good deal.  We reserved the room, and prepared to be disappointed. — — We were very pleasantly surprised.  The hotel is every bit as beautiful as the advertisements… read full review »

The Platinum is a condo hotel, so there is lots of room. We had a large bedroom, living room, full kitchen and bathroom with 2 sinks and a double jaccuzi tub. It was lovely! The hotel has just recently opened, so everything looked new and fresh. It is also a non-gambling hotel so it would be a good choice for families. The strip is 2 blocks away, easily walkable. We enjoyed our stay and would choose The Platinum again.Entertainment: Short Drive, The Vegas Strip is two blocks away. Depending on preference of location, it is a short drive or a bit of a walk. —… read full review »

for my birthday in 2007, my bf and i spent the first few days of my birthday week in vegas.  we stayed at the platinum hotel (an excellent choice).  it's a non-gaming and non-smoking (thank you very much!) environment.  the hotel is located one long block from the strip (closest hotels on the strip are bally's, paris, bellagio).  our suite was very spacious and clean.  the kitchen was nice.  it had a stainless steel side-by-side refrigerator (which was great for us to store our bottles of water, alcohol, and some of the leftovers we had); an electric stove,… read full review »

I was traveling alone and I felt very safe and comfortable at the Platinum Hotel. It's not a smokey, crowded zoo like the big hotels. Nice get-away from the strip and it's right around the corner from it. The room was gorgeous! Best bed I ever slept on in a hotel. Flat screen TVs and Bose radio (which was on a reggae station when I walked into the room--nice touch). Great kitchen if you need it. I used room service. They were prompt and the food was outstanding. Use bottled water if you make coffe in the morning. The tap water tasted funny. I didn't use any spa facilities because I didn't… read full review »

The Platinum Hotel offers and incredible room with five star amenities at a three star price! From a jacuzzi tub to full kitchens with granite countertops to flat screen tv's, this was one of the finest hotel experiences I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I highly recommend staying at The Platinum if you want to go to Vegas but have a place to get away from all the hustle and bustle normally related to hotels near the strip. Easy walking distance to the strip puts you in the action, but you leave that all behind once you walk into the luxurious, well apponited lobby. This… read full review »

The platinum is an elegant hotel with just the right amenities. The service was great from the minute i arrived at the complimentary valet, to registration, and to checking out. The bartender, the concierge, the room service and the well spa gave great friendly service and were very helpful. The room was very nicely decorated and very spacious. The electric chimney was a nice touch as was the LCD tv with high definition channels. The balcony had a nice view and the sound of the distant traffic was very soothing. The hotel is located really close to the strip. I will definitely be going… read full review »

The Platinum hotel exceeds expectations in terms of luxury and value. The suite I stayed in had 2 queen beds, separate sitting area with sofa bed, full kitchen equipped with dishes and a dishwasher. The hotel rooms are ideal for entertaining the after party or a getaway weekend with friends. Room service choices cover a wide variety and palette. The hotel is within walking distance to the Vegas strip and other area attractions. The hotel is fairly new, the staff is friendly and looks after their guests. Be sure to take advantage of the spa and steam room while there as… read full review »

The Platinum is a great non-casino hotel find in Las Vegas - near enough to the strip to walk. The apartment-style rooms provide a very comfortable setting - the hotel has only been open about six months, so everything was was brand new. The food at the hotel restaurant was also firsr class. I really enjoyed the clean, non-smoking environment, and I would highly recommend the Platinum to anyone. I was lucky enough to have a room that looked out at the strip - very pretty at night.Entertainment: Short Walk, The Las Vegas Strip is just a short walk or cab ride away - that's where you will… read full review »

The hotel was great ;but one of the valet parking guys charged me to much for a house vehicle transport to another hotel. He advised me that all of the cabs were charging 15.00 to 20.00 dollars for a ride to the strip ;the same place he took me. I paid him 20.00 dollars and he didn't even open the door for me. I took a cab back to my hotel from the strip and the cab driver only charged me 8.00 dollars;and i asked him what wuld be the highest fee from the strip to my hotel and he advised me no more than 10.00 with alot of traffic.I was not pleased beening over charged like… read full review »

Our second stay, and it was just as wonderful as the first. Suits are large, well furnished, great attention to detail. Staff was great. We had breakfast in the hotel's small dining room. Food was innovative, high quality and well priced. They even had a tofu dish! This is a non smoking non gaming hotel two walking blocks from the center of the strip. Restaurants are plentiful nearby. We had a great view from the balcony. The kitchen made it nice to bring home a little extra from dinner.Nightlife: Short Walk, —… read full review »

The Platinum is new and fresh. It is a short walk to other major hotels and casinos. I enjoyed not having to fight casino traffic to get to my room. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms are all suites with kitchen facilities. This was a great place to stay.Entertainment: Long Walk, Wear comfortable shoes as the casinos and other hotels are a few blocks away. It is not a difficult walk but you'll do more when you enter the hotels and casinos. —… read full review »

The Platinum was a very quiet and classy hotel. The all suite-rooms are very large with full-size stainless appliances, over-size whirlpool tubs, plasma TV, and on and on. A great place to stay and a great value. To top it all off, it was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in for a long time.Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, Casino, restaurant, and shoppes of the Bellagio, Paris, and Caesar's. —… read full review »

The Platinum Hotel & Spa was a wonderful place to stay for four people. We loved the large kitchen area. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was large and very pretty. All the little conveniences you look for were already in the room (large size hair dryer, iron, bathrobes, extra bedding, etc.) Everything was clean and we felt very comfortable. We would definitely stay there… read full review »
