There is a website, http://www.thepioneerwoman.com, which I must check every day. Often, I check it more than once as the hostess is always updating her site and adding new things. The hostess, aka the Pioneer Woman, aka Ree Drummond, is a beautiful city girl who fell in love with a cowboy and now lives on a ranch in Oklahoma with her four children. She somehow man ages to feed the cattle and her family, homeschool her kids, and maintain a wonderful website. She features a section called confession, cooking, photography, and home & garden. Beware: The Pioneer Woman website should be looked at with caution. It often turns into the Bermuda Triangle of websites, where you lose track of time and end up gaining 20 pounds without having to eat a thing. Sad - but true.

In reality, I love Pioneer Woman. She's the best friend you always wanted and the Big Sister who never lets you down. Between the recipes, the photos, the give aways - everyone can find something in Ree Drummond!

The Pioneer Woman website is a wonderful resource for recipes and lessons in photography & using Photoshop. It's also a great place for entertainment as Ree, the woman who writes it, is fabulously witty and funny. A great read, a great website, and a fun family to read about.
