Hospitality on the hoppingest, shoppingest, street in town

This is such a great hotel to get away from it all. They take excellent care of you. The amenities are pampering and many rooms have fireplaces and 2 baths. Everything in downtown Chicago is a short walk away. I woke up on Black Friday and went across the street for holiday shopping. No parking, no... review »

Bottom-Line: The Palmer House Hilton Chicago is more suited to the business executive or well to do personage who demands luxury accommodations and don't mind paying dearly for each and every one of them.

Grand old hotel, but a little dated.

The Palnmer AHouse is located in the center of the Chicago Loop. This used to be the city's prime location, but that honor now goes to North michigan Avenue, a mile or so to the north. Nevertheless, the palmer House still qualifies as an upscale, luxury stay worth your while to stay there. ERspecially well located for business travelers.
