a movie guru, very picky about kids films
Tim Burton couldn't convince Disney to make this film, when he worked at the studio as an animator, but when he had success with Pee Wee and BeetleJuice he pushed this into production and had his team spend over two years doing the stop motion animation needed to bring his dark twisted vision to life. — It may give some sensitive kids the creeps, but most will like the dark humor of course. — It's the story about Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King who brings everyone Halloween every year. He's decided he wants to be better liked and respected... like Santa Claus is, so he…

This movie is awesome!! I remember watching it for the first time when it came out and not moving any part of my body. I was so mesmerized by the animation, characters, and the songs. The score by Danny Elfman is fantastic! The songs the characters sing through-out this movie are just amazing. Everyone can sing along with them- and by the 2nd time you watch the movie, you know all the words to them. — — Although this is a dark film set in a kid's world, the kids love it just as much as the older ones. I'm 22 and still love it to death! I even have my mom loving it! The Nightmare…

I have been watching this movie for as long as i can remember. Yes, it is disney but you definitly wouldn't think so. Director, Tim Burton, did fantastically. No one can think like him. It is only partially a love story. It really turns into what ever story you want it to be. It's a story of love, of selfishness, of someone doing what they want to do by putting there mind to it. It's a story of the ruler of Halloween becoming the king of Christmas. It's a story of discovery of ones self will and how wrong it can be. If you like this animation, also try Tim Burton's "Corpse…

I love this movie, it's such a dying art (stop motion) and it's at it's best here. I just saw the 3-D version in the theater and it was awesome. It was so great to see the movie in the theater and all these years I saw it once when it was originally released. I recommend this for anyone. I don't know about little kids I guess you just have to judge how sensitive your kid…

I LOVE The Nightmare Before Christmas! I also love all things Tim Burton! It is a Great movie for any age. However, this is a rare movie to come by, I have tried to get a copy for myself and somehow ended up with a bootleg copy in the process. If you come across one, hold on to it, it is worth a lot to somebody! —…
