    wonderful characters, Great songs!, wonderfully twisted fantasy, great voice cast, meticulous stop motion animation, memorable music and score, very original

    maybe too dark for some, An exteremly hard movie to get ahold of, A little frightening in parts.

The Nightmare Before Christmas - 1993  — 

The first time I saw "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" was in the theater in 1993 when it first came out; I thought it was ok.  The second time I saw it was on DVD and it has now become a family tradition in our house around Halloween and Christmas to watch it.  My 3-year-old son LOVES this movie.  "I want to watch Jack!" is what he says at least once a week. 

It takes a little to get into it the first time you see it, but give it a chance and you will enjoy it.
