Most HelpfulI have been reading The New York Times my whole life. Along the way I supplemmented it with The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, Chicago Sun Times, The Chicago Tribune and The Wall Street Journal. Today, I still subscribe to the last three. Most HelpfulThis has got to be the worst newspaper in America. With a diminishing readership (less than a million) it is amazing people even still refer to it at all. It is completely out of touch with the American people. The articles are totally slanted towards a very liberal political point of veiw. ...
read full review »As a 21-year-old communications and political science student in New York City, picking up The New York Times is like having my morning cup of Joe. I can't function without it. Yes, I know what you're thinking. The Times is my bug zapper. I am its firefly. (Although you must admit, there's nothing quite like the luring smell and feel of crisply painted gray pages.) Well, I've set aside my personal ties, and have taken a closer look at what the NYT is pushing. All I've found is that The New York Times does precisely what the institution claims. I love this newspaper and it is one of the only ones left around. I strongly advocate getting a subscription to the New York Times at least for the "weekender" portion. It's an excellent Sunday paper to say the very least and they have one of the best magazines.
As someone who has a limited amount of time to get into the big apple I am thrilled with the city information I get each week from the Times!
